I went to Chicago last week to pick up a slightly used Omnium Cargo and I am super happy!
I had an Omnium Electric Mini Max and sold it 3 days before Omnium informed us, as a US Dealer, that they were shutting down the US Warehouse and laying off US staff. I was, and still am, bummed. When Omnium had US distribution I believe we could offer the Cargo and the Mini Max Apex-equipped models for $3249. I thought that was a pretty fair price for a really great bike. Now, having to buy direct and as a result of shipping from Europe and the tariffs our glorious leader has imposed, that same Omnium would be about $4299. A lot more for the buyer, the same profit for the shop and a whole lot more work! Note that the amount we make as a dealer hasn’t changed the additional $1050, or whatever the exact amount is, is a direct result of tariffs! Sucks, but that is the way it is.
Anyway, I am glad to have found this Cargo. I have an extra CYC Photon Gen 2 motor kit that I think I am going to install on the bike. I’ll let you know how it goes!
