I had to take our cars to Habhegger for some routine maintenance today and had to get back home so I loaded the Ralph in the van. Built by Tom Teesdale for the frame builtin company Ralph Henderson and I had this was a pretty early version. It has Ralph’s “Dog bone” seatstay bridge that was designed to improve stopping power by stiffening the stays close to the trie. Worked pretty well. While I used this frame, and raced it, as an MTB it is now in urban assault mode. Thick Slicks, Nexus 8 read hub a smattering of parts from the parts bin and it is great. It is eerily silent! Stealthy one might say. Anyway, I shot a couple of pix because it is so cool.
