Blue Bear in Ellison Bay (The old Viking Inn) – Pick of the trip. We will definitely be back.

- Wendy – Berkshire Ham Omelet
- Me – Blue Bear Benedict

Was good! Better than the food at The Thirsty Cow.
Also Della Porta – This is the evening offering in the same space. Different fare so a different name. Clever concept.
Drove to Northport and saw the Washington Island ferry coming in.
Newport Beach – Flooding and Gnats – Did a comparison shot with the GRIIIx and the OM-1 with a 20mm 1.4 both set to f4. Very similar field of view.
Uncle Tom’s Candy- https://uncletomscandy.com New owner Rebecca. Got pancake mix, caramels and sea salt chocolate.
Beach Store – the owner was jabber jawing to a lady about money and stuff. What a douche.
Rusty Dusty Records – very cool vintage record and clothing shop. Didn’t buy anything today but have in the past. – https://www.instagram.com/bigolrustydusty_vintage/
Seven Sisters Resale – Wendy bought a pair of earrings. Tyra wasn’t in. Sorry we missed her.
Fisk Creek Market – Deli not open. Opens May 1st.
Hide House – I got a book. It is in the car and I forgot the title.
Harbor Market Grocery – Good deli sandwiches – https://www.facebook.com/p/Harbor-Market-Grocery-61560893570631/

Cana Island Light House – Another test with the GRIIIx and the OM-1. Walked around the island. Lots more shots with the Ricoh. TONS of Zebra Muscle, and other, shells. Lots of work since last we were there. New welcome center, bathrooms etc. Not a big fan. Now everyone will want to go there. Some significant damaged from the August 9th, 2025 storm to the trees on the island.

Back at the High Point early. Caught up on magazines. Did more to clear out my backlog of Post-It notes. Making progress.
Investigating Field Notes formats. I need one that sticks.
Downloaded and culled photos from the GR IIIx and OM-1 to iPhotos to check out Photomator more. Is it good enough to replace Lightroom for me?
